Volkswagen Jetta, Passat and Touran started - RM150k, RM185k and RM167k respectively all CBU

Volkswagen Group Malaysia has today announced the Jetta, Passat and Touran, after its preview debut at the Volkswagen Auto Show 2011 last month. All three models come in CBU form, but of course eventually be set in the near future, the Passat and Jetta models to be assembled on site, in Pekan - no information yet on that one yet.

The Jetta sedan, which is in rolls of RM149, 888 (on the road without insurance), powered by a 1.4 TSI twin-charged engine, the 160 hp at 5,800 rpm and 240 Nm 1500-4500 revolutions per minute, coupled to seven-speed DSG tranny, this specification the car is considered the most powerful sedan in its class, says VGM.

Skoda Rapid unveiled NDTV Car and Bike Show

Skoda has chosen NDTV Car and Bike Show to unveil its latest car for India - fast. The television program is seen as India's highest auto show looked and offered the best platform possible unveiling of the new Skoda car. The unveiling is the gift of Skoda television of, who turned eight during the unveiling.

Rapid Skoda is a car that will be sold as replacement of the Octavia, which was recently deleted. The Rapid was first presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show concept D Vision and was a huge success. The Rapid will be based on the Volkswagen Vento and should be a lower price than the VW sedan.

The rapid launch of Skoda in India is the first time the car was shown in its final form. The European launch of the fast will be held at a later date. The Rapid is expected to be sold in Russia and China as well. The car and bike show featuring the unveiling of the Rapide will be broadcast Saturday, October 15th at 13:30 and Sunday at 19:00. Do not forget that this is a show in two parts and Sunday's episode will not be a remake.

Rapid Skoda was called Lauretta within the Volkswagen Group. Te name is a combination of Laura Skoda and Volkswagen Jetta. Skoda India has not revealed details of prices even faster. VW Polo: hybrid plug-in version in the works

AutoWeek.nl has reported that in the coming year, Volkswagen will have a high fuel efficient Polo hatch with a plug-in hybrid powertrain to launch. VW Up! prices announced in the United Kingdom
