Mahindra Reva, India's leading manufacturer of electric car has finally confirmed the launch of Reva NXR four places in the next six months. A top company official while talking to media persons said REVA NXR is in the final stages of development and will be launched soon.
Rajan Wadhera, CEO, technology, product development and sourcing, Mahindra and Mahindra, which is one of the highest representatives of handling the project Reva NXR also said that the new electric car will be capable of carrying four occupants easily and would be a vehicle that will include features found in ordinary cars.
Mr. Wadhera refine while talking to IANS said: "It will be a four-seater car. We have developed either as a car with adequate space, power and other characteristics. "Mr. Wadhera did not disclose the price of the REVA NXR only said it was being developed as an electric vehicle cost effective for the country.
He said: "Electric cars are a little on the high side of prices due to technology. But we try to develop it as a vehicle very profitable." The REVA NXR is designed to offer greater scope than the current Reva . The NXR is expected to push sales of Mahindra REVA is the management of monthly sales of only 50 units.
The current Reva is also sold in the UK as the G-Wiz. The Reva is still passenger cars in India only electric. Mahindra Reva resumed in 2009 and has since invested in the development of new products. The REVA NXR will be the first of several new electric vehicles to deploy the form Mahindra Reva.
