Hyundai Motor Co. Thursday made its world debut Eon, the smallest car in history, in India.
The car, which has a 814-cc gasoline engine, will cost 269,999 rupees ($ 5,487) for the basic model in showrooms in New Delhi. The top-end model will cost 371,869 rupees.
Hyundai with its suppliers of parts have invested nine billion rupees for the development of Eon, the company said.
